About the Event
“One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation." ~ A Queen should always be prepared!
The topic of puberty can be very challenging: What do I say? When is a good time to have the talk? Am I ready to have this conversation? How much information do I share? Will my daughter be prepared? Parents and guardians of young girls have asked one or all of these questions, plus many more.
To answer the call of our mission, A Sista’s Touch will host the 13th Edification workshop of our inaugural program, A Sista’s Always Prepared: Puberty to Queen. As our young Black girls transition through puberty, we want to ensure they have the tools, support, and resources to flourish on their path toward Queendom through the cultivation of confidence and preparation.
